According to the Provision of the Accounting for Non-profit Organizations (Official Gazzette n. 10/08 and 07/09), the subjects who are obliged to prepare and submit the financial reports are the following ones:
• associations and their aliances
• foreign associations
• foundations
• institutions
• political parties
• chambers
• unions
• religious organizations and other communities
and all other legal persons whose primary purpose of registration and activities is non-profit and which are registered in the Register of non-profit organizations. The exception concerns to the non-profit organizations which asset value and annual revenue amount less than 100.000,00 kn during the past three years.
The non-profit organizations are obliged to prepare and submit several financial reports for the Financial Agency (FINA) and National Audit Office concerning the period from the 1st of January to 31st of December, 2009.
The requested reports are the following ones:
• Balance sheet
• Profit and loss statement
• Notes to the financial statements
The deadline for submission of the financial reports is the 1st of March, 2010.
